We greatly appreciate your interest in making a contribution to the Penn Glee Club! Our Club runs a significant portion of its yearly operations on gifts from alumni, family, and friends while also maintaining an endowment that will hopefully ease this financial burden in the future. The 150 x 150 Endowment Fund is the Glee Club’s investment fund that is managed through the University’s Endowment. The fund generates returns that the Glee Club is eligible to use a portion of each year. These funds are directed toward the long-term sustainability of the Club, including expenses such as our professional formalwear and printed copies of our Songbooks.
The Glee Club Gift Fund is an operations fund that is held separately from the University’s Endowment. The gift fund is more readily accessible and can be used to address the short term needs of the club. These funds are directed toward the yearly operations of the Club, including expenses such as financial aid for our annual tour, payments for a yearly retreat, and semi-annual show related costs.
